This is the first time that I have ever used voice thread. I am very impressed with it and find it very easy to use. I like that you can get onto your web cam and record things all on the same site. Without having any experience with it, I didn't have any troubles at all with it. I think it would be a very good tool to use in the classroom because students can have access to it any time they want to get on. I could upload lessons, or if my students are having troubles with something, they can always post a question and I could get on there and respond back to them. I think the ISTE NETS standard that this falls under is:
2. Design and Develop Digital-Age Learning Experiences and Assessments
d. provide students with multiple and varied formative and summative assessments aligned with content and technology standards and use resulting data to inform learning and teaching.
